At Maia Mothers Collective, we honour and acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia where we are privileged to work, play, love and nurture. We also humbly recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities over 60,000 years. We offer our deepest respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders – those who extended their knowledge in the past and those who guide us now.We recognise and celebrate that Birthing on Country occurred for many thousands of years, and we acknowledge the incredible significance of Birthing on Country for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women.
