Massage Therapist
Alessandra is a passionate practitioner dedicated to supporting women through their fertility, pregnancy and motherhood journeys. Originally from Rome, Italy, she recently moved to Australia with her family, bringing with her a unique combination of clinical expertise, hands-on experience and a deeply nurturing approach to women’s health.
Growing up in Rome, surrounded by art, music, history and the beauty of Italian culture, Alessandra developed a deep appreciation for connection, creativity and the importance of caring for both body and mind. She has also been a professional athlete, an experience that shaped her understanding of the human body, movement, resilience and the importance of listening to the body’s signals.
Her qualifications were completed in Italy, where she obtained a Degree in Physiotherapy and a Degree in Osteopathy, followed by postgraduate studies specialising in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Pregnancy. In Australia, she practises as a Remedial Massage Therapist, integrating her extensive clinical background to support women with treatments that are gentle, effective and deeply personalised.
Having personally experienced IVF and now motherhood, Alessandra understands firsthand the emotional, physical and hormonal changes women experience throughout their fertility, pregnancy and postpartum journeys. Her personal experience, combined with her professional knowledge, allows her to approach each woman with empathy, respect and a deep awareness of the body’s needs.
Through her treatments, Alessandra supports women in releasing physical and psychosomatic tension, restoring freedom of movement and reconnecting with their bodies. Her touch is intuitive yet purposeful, creating a safe and nurturing space where women feel heard, supported and cared for.
Alessandra believes deeply in the importance of community and the traditional idea of the “village” that supports women through major life transitions. After moving to Australia, she feels honoured to be part of creating a space where women can feel connected, held and supported throughout their journey into motherhood.
Outside of her clinical work, Alessandra loves spending time in nature, where she finds grounding, inspiration and a deep connection with herself. She is incredibly excited and grateful to bring her experience, knowledge and passion to Maia Mothers Collective, supporting women and families through this transformative chapter of life.
